2009 Lions Super14 squad

 

The Lions squad is:

The Lions have confirmed the names of their new signings for 2009 for the Super 14 and the Currie Cup competitions.

The new signings include two overseas players and Trompie Nonsthinga, impressive Blue Bulls wing who was on loan to the Lions.
Willie Ricard, from the Southland team in New Zealand and United States No 8 Todd Clever are the overseas players.

Rouan Cloete (two years, Valke, centre), Divan Kotze (two years, Blue Bulls, centre/flyhalf), Robert Kruger (two years, Pukke, flank), Alistair Siegelaar (two years, WP, scrumhalf), Thuliphato Marole (two years, Sharks, loose forward) and Hans van Dyk (two years, Griquas, hooker) are the other signings.
